So, I’ve been extremely lucky over the past couple of months, in that rather than just playing many of the classic Randa and the Soul Kingdom tracks in my funk sets, I’ve been blessed with having Randa herself there singing LIVE!
We’ve been invited over to Skanks Radio HQ for a little showcase tomorrow night (Tuesday 3rd August) and just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, Randa called me up earlier today to tell me that Anton Delacca from the incredible BAMBOOS will be joining us to play some live sax too.
We’ll be doing about 40 minutes in total, and I’ll also be playing some great modern funk from the past 5 years or so.
Probably not going to get much sleep tonight.
